Pentecost: the time we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit to the church and the marvellous change this brought to the people - and still does today!

The first time the Spirit came with the sound of wind and tongues of fire touched the disciples. This year we celebrate on 9th June with special services and encourage people to wear the colours of fire: reds, oranges and yellows to mark the occasion.
